About North Hollywood
The community of North Hollywood sits in the San Fernando Valley and is home to
the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences and the NoHo Art District. It has been
developed into a diverse urban village and the community is a important transportation
hub with metro stations for the Red Line and Orange Line.
The National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences, founded in 1946, is responsible
for the Emmy Awards, is responsible for the Archive of American Television, and
oversees the Fred Rogers Memorial Scholarship that provides internships and educational
outreach programs. The organization has 15,000 members that include performers,
directors, producers, art directors, technicians, and executives.
Neighborhoods in North Hollywood consist of single family neighborhoods, condominium
