Arleta, California is a small residential community in the San Fernando Valley.
The city is popular with commuters due to easy access to the Golden State Freeway
and the Hollywood Freeway.
Primarily a residential area, Arleta has lovely and friendly neighborhoods of single
family homes as well as condominium complexes. There are ranch style and two story
homes in a variety of styles and price ranges. Buyers will find welcoming neighborhoods

that they can only be reached on foot or horseback. The highest campground in the
park is at an elevation of 6,200 feet and offers a ski complex and snow play area,
a unique experience for sunny southern California. The Wildlife Waystation, a center
known for its efforts to rescue and rehabilitate wild and exotic animals, is located
in the forest and is a favorite stop for many.
Arleta is surrounded by Mission Hills, North Hills, Sun Valley, Pacoima, and Panorama
City. Those who live in these communities embrace the residential environment of
their neighborhoods and travel to these other areas for shopping, dining, and entertainment.
There are an abundance of shopping malls, stores, specialty shops, boutiques, and
market throughout these areas. There is a long list of restaurant choices that represent
