Palms – Mar Vista is a lovely neighborhood located in West Los Angeles. This pleasant
community is just minutes from the Pacific Ocean and the University of California,

High School. This school has a long history and when it was first established in
the early 1900's the classes were held in an old lagoon bathhouse just two blocks
from the beach. It has since moved to a new neo-romanesque building. The neighborhood
is also conveniently located close to the University of California, Los Angeles
and to the Venice Community Adult School. The adult school is an educational institution
specifically designed for adults who have not completed high school. The school
provides additional education to those seeking their high school diploma and to
immigrants and refugees who need to learn the language and complete their education
to secure better employment.
