Previously home to the L.A. Lakers, this famous structure was recently renovated
and is now a top-notch concert venue. Shows by Metallica and Madonna are among its
resume.
Inglewood also offers a race track, two major hospitals and shopping and dining
opportunities. Authentic Mexican food and traditional southern barbecue are some
of the delights along with fine dining. Supermarkets are conveniently located along
with specialty stores like Bed, Bath and Beyond.
Most of Inglewood is served by the Inglewood Unified School District. Some of the
local schools scored in the top 20% of California's Performance Index. Among them
are Wilder's Prepatory Academy and City Honors High School.
