About Artesia
Named for the many Artesian Wells that flow through the area, Artesia is a lovely
suburb of Los Angeles. A well known landmark hovering over the city is a large Artesia
Water Tower that holds 50,000 gallons of water. No records exist regarding construction
of the well but the city is trying to have the site declared as a Historical Landmark.
The city offers friendly neighborhoods with rich amenities and a welcoming respite
after a long day at work. It is home to the EastWest Ice Palace owned by Olympian
Michelle Kwan and is where former First Lady Pat Nixon grew up.
Those looking to relocate to the area will find a variety of lovely neighborhoods
in Artesia with affordable housing opportunities. Developments with well maintained
